Company Overview: London International is an Edtech company that offers a wide range of online educational products and services to learners worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated Cost Controller to join our team and help us manage our costs effectively to ensure the financial sustainability of our business. The Cost Controller will report to the Managing Director and work closely with the product development, sales, and marketing teams to manage costs related to the development, delivery, and marketing of our online educational products and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Develop and manage budgets for product development and marketing campaigns. Analyze the costs associated with different aspects of the product development process, such as software development, content creation, and user testing. Identify opportunities for cost savings, such as outsourcing certain tasks or negotiating better deals with suppliers. Monitor expenses related to marketing and sales of the products and services, and analyze the return on investment of different marketing channels. Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making about new product development and expansion into new markets. Ensure that the company complies with relevant regulations related to financial management and accounting. Collaborate with other departments, such as product development, sales, and marketing, to ensure that cost management strategies align with overall business objectives. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and produce timely financial reports for management. Participate in audits and reviews of financial processes and procedures. Develop and implement financial controls to prevent fraud and waste. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in cost control or financial management, preferably in an Edtech or technology-related industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial management best practices, and financial analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial management software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
