Key Responsibilities

Cost System Management & Data Entry

Set up and maintain

cost codes

in the system (Deltek/ Procore). Enter, verify, and allocate

actual costs

for manpower, materials, equipment, and plant after getting the directors and EVP approvals. Maintain

commitment, accrual, and liability registers

to reflect true project exposure. Monitor and Ensure all cost entries are

properly coded, supported, and posted on time

.

Cost Control & Monitoring

Monitor

budget vs. actual vs. committed

costs across all self-performed work packages. Highlight potential overruns and support corrective action with project management teams.

Forecasting and Cash Flow Reporting

Control and update

Cost to Complete (CTC)

reports (

weekly and monthly)

. Prepare and update

Estimate at Completion (EAC)

on a monthly basis. Support

cash flow forecasts

based on commitments and projected expenditures. Align cost forecasts with construction progress and productivity data and report trend analyses. Produce cost summaries and management dashboards.

Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate with site management, planning, procurement, stores, and finance teams. Ensure compliance with

company cost control procedures and audit requirements

. Maintain complete cost records for internal reviews, claims support, and audits.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management. Minimum 5+ years' experience in construction cost control with

demonstrated exposure to financial accounting principles

, cost accruals, commitments, and month-end closing. Strong experience with

ERP / cost control systems

. Solid understanding of labor, material, and equipment cost structures. Proven experience coordinating with Finance and Accounts teams on cost posting, accruals, invoicing, and month-end financial close.
