Job Title: Cost Control Engineer - Civil
Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Civil Projects
Job Summary:
Responsible for monitoring project costs, budgets, and financial performance for civil construction projects. Ensures cost compliance, prepares cost reports, and supports project teams in maintaining profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and cash-flow forecasts
Track project expenditures, material costs, labor cost, subcontractor claims, and variations
Review BOQs, estimates, drawings, and project scope for cost accuracy
Maintain cost reports, productivity reports, and budget vs. actual analysis
Support tendering, pricing, and value-engineering proposals
Evaluate change orders, variations, and prepare cost impact assessments
Coordinate with planning, procurement, and site teams for cost data
Ensure cost control procedures and financial guidelines are followed
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
3-7 years of cost control experience in construction
Strong understanding of project budgeting, BOQ, and cost analysis
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems; knowledge of Primavera is a plus
Good communication and analytical skills
Salary:
AED15000 + Benefits
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dubai
