Cost Control Engineer - Azizi Developments - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
Azizi Developments is hiring a Cost Control Engineer to manage and monitor the financial performance of large-scale residential and mixed-use real estate projects in Dubai. This role focuses on cost planning, budget control, forecasting, and earned value analysis to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets.

Key Responsibilities
Support development cost planning and business planning processes across all projects
Prepare detailed project cost plans and present recommendations and benchmarks during project reviews
Develop and implement cost planning tools and standardized cost control processes
Monitor and control total project expenditure including verification of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
Ensure all project costs are accurately recorded and allocated to correct cost codes
Prepare earned value versus actual cost analysis reports at cost code level
Provide cost control support including variation reporting, milestone tracking, and billing processes
Perform technical and commercial review of subcontractor quotations for service agreements
Develop and manage work breakdown structures to monitor procurement, invoicing, delivery, and project closeout
Coordinate with project management teams to resolve cost-related issues and support timely delivery
Attend internal and external project meetings as required
Prepare monthly cost reports for management review and provide corrective recommendations
Provide cost control and planning advice to internal project teams when required
Ideal Profile
Degree in Engineering with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control
Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control or project cost management
Strong knowledge of earned value management and cost reporting methodologies
Experience using project management and cost control systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Primavera
Experience with Xpedion, MS Project, and ERP systems is an advantage
