We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical

Cost Accountant

to join our finance team in a dynamic

boat manufacturing environment

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking, Analyzing, and controlling production costs, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and profitability across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Calculate and monitor direct and indirect production costs (materials, labor, overhead).

Analyze monthly cost variances and prepare detailed cost reports for management.

Determine unit cost per boat model based on actual production expenses.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and inventory departments to track material usage and identify waste or inefficiencies.

Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and standard cost models.

Maintain and improve cost accounting systems and procedures.

Support pricing strategies by providing accurate product cost estimates.

Perform financial analysis of manufacturing operations and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Mussafah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:

Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
