Cost Accountant
Job Description
The Cost Accountant role is required for a food manufacturing sector based in the Western Region to prepare various cost factors in the manufacturing trade and related budget reports. Duties/Responsibilities: . Secure and compiles cost based data and maintains archive concerning expenses. . Analyses fixed costs such as salaries, rent, insurance, other costs with the government agenies . Focus and records variable costs such as purchases of raw material, labor, and operation costs. . Reviews, analyzes, and reports actual profit margins. . Performs month-end and year-end closings with assistance. . Provides product sample costs for Marketing and General Accounting. . Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: . Excellent verbal and written communication skills of Arabic. . Thorough understanding of cost accounting procedures. . Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail. . Ability to manage confidential information. . Ability to independently Education and Experience: . Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration required. . At least two years of experience in cost accounting required. . Only local candidates with fluency in Arabic.
