Job Description

To provide accurate and timely cost analysis, support budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor manufacturing and operational costs, and ensure proper cost allocation to support decision-making and profitability analysis. Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

Analyze and monitor cost variances, investigate causes, and provide actionable recommendations. Prepare and maintain cost sheets for all products and update them regularly based on raw material prices, labor rates, and overhead changes. Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to ensure cost data accuracy and efficiency in operations. Assist in the preparation of standard costs and conduct regular reviews to align with actual expenses. Prepare monthly cost reports and analyze deviations against budgeted costs. Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities by providing relevant cost data and analysis. Participate in inventory valuation processes, including cycle counts and year-end physical inventory. Ensure accurate allocation of direct and indirect costs to respective cost centers. Support internal and external audits related to costing and inventory. Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of cost accounting systems and ensure proper integration with ERP systems. Perform any other related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
