Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain cost accounting system, policies, and procedures
Monitor and analyze manufacturing and operational costs
Prepare and analyze cost reports, highlighting variances and recommending solutions
Work with Operations team to develop and maintain standard costs for products
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Collaborate with Purchasing team to evaluate vendor pricing and negotiate cost-saving opportunities
Conduct periodic inventory reviews to ensure accuracy and identify obsolete inventory
Participate in month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements
Provide support for external audits and internal control processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting or related role
Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
