Corporate Development Manager

Job Description
Our client, a government entity based in the UAE, is looking to hire a Corporate Development Manager with 3-4 years of experience to join their in-house team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A and will be responsible for supporting the company\'s strategic growth initiatives. Experience in the utilities, energy, or power sectors would be beneficial, though the role is sector-agnostic.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing M&A transactions, including target identification, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring
- Develop and maintain financial models to support M&A and investment decisions
- Conduct market research to identify acquisition targets and assess trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and transaction execution
- Prepare reports for senior management and assist in post-merger integration to achieve strategic goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus
- 3-4 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or corporate development, ideally from a Big Four firm, boutique advisory, or in-house corporate development team
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and managing M&A due diligence processes
- Experience in the utilities, energy, or power sectors is beneficial
