Corporate Development Associate (tech Investments)

Job Description
Our client, a technology firm, is looking for a Corporate Development Associate to join their in-house Investments team. This role will focus on executing strategic acquisitions, investments, and partnerships, working closely with senior leadership to drive the company's growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and integration planning
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, trading/transaction comps), and investment assessments for potential acquisitions
- Support strategic investment decisions, including minority investments and partnerships
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, product, legal, and operations) to execute transactions seamlessly
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for executive leadership and board discussions
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in M&A, private equity, or investment banking
- Must have technology sector experience from a bulge bracket investment bank or top-tier advisory firm with a preference for buy-side experience.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence skills
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Strong presentation and communication skills for engagement with senior leadership
