We're looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented

Corporate Accounting Specialist

to join our Finance team. The role supports Orbitworks' corporate accounting and Marlan's fund-level reporting and compliance requirements. It combines financial operations, audit and tax coordination, and exposure to investment reporting, perfect for someone who enjoys precision, accountability, and growth in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

+ Manage day-to-day accounting operations including invoice processing, reimbursements, petty cash, and reconciliations across multiple entities. + Prepare and process payment requisitions, ensuring accuracy, documentation completeness, and adherence to approval workflows.
+ Maintain clean ledgers and collaborate with external accountants for timely posting and reconciliation.
+ Support monthly management reporting including budget vs. actuals, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
+ Assist in preparing and reviewing annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
+ Coordinate audits and support auditors with required documentation and schedules.
+ Support tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax filings, and maintain awareness of UAE regulatory requirements.
+ Provide payroll-related accounting support in coordination with the People Operations team.
+ Support fund-level accounting for Marlan, including capital tracking, investment reporting, and regulatory submissions.
+ Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and consultants to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, internal controls, and reporting systems.
+ Use financial tools such as NetSuite, Xero, Alaan, and Excel to streamline reporting and ensure data integrity.

Must Haves:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. +

2-4 years

of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting.
+ Qualified or part-qualified

ACCA, ICAEW, or CPA

, or currently completing PER.
+ Solid understanding of

IFRS

, month-end close processes, and accounting principles.
+ Exposure to

tax, audit, and compliance

in the UAE.
+ Proficiency in

Excel

; experience with

NetSuite or Xero

preferred.
+ Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
+ Based in the UAE with fluency in English.

+ Experience in

fund or investment accounting
