Core Banking Application Consultant
Job Description
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. 8+ years in I-series(AS400) development/maintenance and support activities. Should be well versed with all utilities of I-series(AS400) and must have proficiency in development using CLLE, RPGLE, Embedded SQL, and DB2. Should have excellent coding skills using RPGLE. Core banking knowledge and experience in Finastra-Equation. Must be well versed in EOD cycle, API programming, EQ Functionalities, User Exits, etc. Experience in MQ programming is an advantage. Should have a comprehensive understanding of I-series(AS400) connectivity via Middleware application with other platforms like Java, .Net and Oracle. Should have hands-on knowledge of the SDLC process to facilitate quality assurance of end deliverables. Exposure to change management tools - Aldon/TurnOver/Hawkeye etc., will be an advantage.
