Group AMANA is looking for an Architect, to work in its business unit in Dubai. Interested Candidates who fulfill requirements and below requirements, are Recommended to apply on vacancy:

Role Objective:

Prepare Architectural designs and engineering drawings, incorporating the contract, project specifications, client requirements and government regulations without compromising the constructability of these designs.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:

OPERATIONAL:

• Perform architectural design for Design/ Build contracts and Tenders from Concept, through Schematic, Detail Design, Authority Packages, Fire & Life Safety, IFC, As-Built.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and AMANA project stakeholders to develop a compliant design as per Management requirements.
• Obtain design approvals from the client and authorities in the shortest possible time frame and within the job estimate developed by the tendering department.
• Check and approve compatibility between Architectural, Civil, MEP and Steel drawings and designs (both in-house and third party) and resolve any incompatibilities with the relevant parties.
• Ensure the timely delivery and approval of all design stages as defined by the Contract and by the Manager.
• Assists Procurement, Cost Control and Estimation in Variations and in preparing RFP and review subcontractors\' proposals and RFIs.
• Prepare deliverables lists, allocate resources and supervise draftsman to the project in coordination with the other Projects, Architects and Manager.
• Maintain drawing logs and schedules in coordination with Document Controllers, Planners and Manager.
• Performs site visits as needed to compare designs with actual site practices as well as to improve knowledge of practical building practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Architecture) from a reputable university.

Experience:

At least 4-year Architectural design experience preparing and coordinating Architectural design packages for Industrial Facilities (warehouses, datacenters, cold stores, etc.) in the GCC.

Technical Skills:

Strong BIM/REVIT Architectural (at least up to LOD 350) and AutoCAD skills. Experience in building code, design, technical detailing, and coordination of steel buildings. Proficiency in English language (reading, written and spoken).
