The Assistant Senior Editor\'s primary role will be to assist the Business Lead to help manage and oversee the research, planning, ideation, development, production, publication and distribution of digital and social content for clients
It also includes supervising a team of content creators, writers, videographers, photographers, and designers, as well as keeping abreast of ongoing events that can be featured for the client and would require either editorial or on-ground audiovisual coverage
The Assistant Senior Editor should be able to devise creative ways of developing clients\' online presence and increasing brand visibility, recall, and awareness with the target audience
Develop and track house style guides and come up with an overall business content/digital strategy per client
Ideate and brainstorm campaign, coverage and story ideas per client
Manage the content, design, audio-video and production teams
Proofread, edit and write content as and when required
Provide creative or technical support to the team as needed
Coordinate with creatives, influencers and external vendors as and when required
Research all current industry developments across client-related fields
Be aware of the latest developments in media, geopolitics, industry, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in media, marketing or journalism
Minimum 5-7 years\' experience in publishing, advertising or media industries
Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and/or Arabic
Superlative communication skills (verbal and written)
Very good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with digital marketing and social media fields
