Job Description

When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we'd be pretty surprised if talabat didn't pop into your mind first! Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we've grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.

Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Role Summary Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems. Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.

What's On Your Plate? Coordinate clearance of the shipment with a clearance agency. Supervise inventory distribution/returning processes for onboarded, existing and offboarded riders Monitoring stock fluctuations and compiling daily inventory reports on a daily basis. Conducting spot checks and visiting stores to investigate inventory discrepancies. Ensure accuracy of inventory movements through validation and updates in Microsoft Dynamics (D365) Conducting a monthly reconciliation with finance to review warehouse and inventory costs. Performing quarterly inventory cycle counts in the warehouse. Reporting any system issues related to store operations or activities that may impact stock levels. Assist in improving inventory processes.

What Did We Order? You have 2+ years of experience in Inventory management. Basic knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. Proficient in Google Suite tools like GDoc, GSheet, GSlides, GForms etc. You have good analytical and communication skills, and always like to be hands-on with several tools. Detail-oriented, structured and know how to prioritize - you consider yourself as someone who delivers solutions and not bottlenecks to be solved. Ability to analyze and solve problems. You are someone energized by the unknown and look forward to learning each day on the job. Language skills: Fluent English and Arabic
