Reports to: Senior Director of Finance & Budgeting Scope and Purposes: A Procurement and Store Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment for an organization. Procurement task involves managing movement materials, services & equipment. They work with vendors to place orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure that everything arrives on time and in good condition. Essentials Duties and Responsibilities: (not all-inclusive)
  • Managing the front desk and welcome vendors/visitors.
  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and inventory levels.
  • Overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods in the store or warehouse.
  • Assist in negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Ensuring that materials, supplies, and equipment meet quality standards.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Ensuring that store and warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and secure manner.
  • Developing and implementing procurement and store policies and procedures.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ensuring that procurement and store activities support the overall goals and objectives of the organization, and that materials, supplies and equipment are available as and when needed
  • Keeping track of purchase orders and invoices to ensure that all invoices have been paid.
  • Deal with complaints from buyer and coordinate with vendor to remedy the deliverables issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge:
  • Five years of related experience.
  • Bachelor\'s degree.

  • Organizational skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Excellent IT and numerical skills, inventory software and stores module.
