Job Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
  • To ensure ongoing support to all Sales & Retail across Brands within according to Global best practice standards for realizing profitable market share and sustainable Sales growth.
  • To steer the VM&ISC function on behalf of Marketing alignment along with project management of key initiatives
  • To improve sell through by implementing the best and most attractive brand and product presentation/visual merchandising in order to win the consumer across channels for both adidas & Reebok Execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To ensure best and prime locations are booked for adidas across DTC channel
  • To execute VM&ISC in store following global guidelines.
  • To staff, train and manage the VM team in being the excellent “Silent Sales Person” across brands & channels
  • To support Sales best practice (BP) implementation operationally.
  • Help drive product presentation and champion best practices in visual merchandising for a meaningful customer and consumer experience.
  • Be the internal champion, cross functionally, for the Visual VM&ISC process as it pertains to the consumer shopping experience, from sell-in to sell-through.
  • Be responsible for market feedback on maintenance and layout of existing SIS at DTC channels and communicate needs for floor plan/layout changes, fixtures, signage, graphics etc, through the VM planning team.
  • To provide all statistical and relevant KPI data as requested on key Doors and franchise stores. Monitor all reports on trends and developments in key doors including competitors’ activities.
  • Ensure that adidas has a strong in-store share of voice by driving, implementing, and managing the brand, product and seasonal ISC and activations processes
  • To develop Key Accounts & Field Account objectives across brands, strategies and tactics including translation into action and business plans based on a solid fact on each KA along clearly defined guidelines jointly with the Sales Manager.
  • Give advice and information to retailers on the adidas and reebok brands, POS materials and products to support the marketing concepts and Brand Campaign.
  • Supervise store fixtures set-up
  • To train store staff in Visual merchandising techniques.
  • Assist Sales team in merchandising the showrooms during sell-in period. Implement VM showroom guidelines.
  • To Manage the dedicated warehouse for extra fittings and accessories to ensure proper storage and easy handling in a controlled manager.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree, ideally with marketing and sales focus.
  • Functional: 2-4 years Visual merchandising.
  • Industry: consumer driven, ideally apparel/fashion/shoes.
  • Exposure: advertising / marketing.

Language Skills:
  • English: Advanced
  • Arabic: Advanced
