We are looking for a talented and skilled HSE Coordinator to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Reporting to the HSE Manager you will be responsible for leading and monitoring all internal and Safety activities within the company. Responsible for the implementation of company policies with regards to established health, safety and environment policies and procedures and to provide in-plant reliable firefighting equipment. Duties may include but will not be limited to: Contribute to the development of Kuwait Steel's safety culture by ensuring all staff and contractors comply with HSE policies and procedures. Conduct HSE Induction for all new employee and assist in the issuance of personal protective equipment (ppe). Conduct an HSE inspection or audit to determine the compliance of all employees and contractors. Health, Safety and Environment Officer in coordination with concerned department heads is responsible for directing and controlling activities related to the procedure for emergency preparedness & response Use Safest to conduct inspection, record hazard, conduct meeting, inspect equipment, log observation, and log incident. Conduct routine and visual inspections in critical areas around the plant/yard.
