What to expect:
Sustainability as a topic is expanding at talabat as we focus our strategic efforts in driving the following 3 pillars: 1)
Giving Back, 2) Protecting the Environment, 3) Creating Key Stakeholder Welfare. As a sustainability coordinator, you will be key in project managing the implementation of key environmental and social initiatives as well as have the opportunity to collaborate and support key stakeholders with research.
Your role will be critical in supporting the execution and delivery of our core work streams such as our charity operations and carbon data collection. This role would primarily involve supporting our local UAE market but will also expose the individual to key regional projects.

What\xe2\x80\x99s on the menu? (Duties & Responsibilities)
- Support in project managing team and market plans\xe2\x80\x99 execution to ensure effective project delivery eg. Follow ups, updates, tracker
- Work collaboratively with markets on updating donation reporting and marketing campaign as well as resolving any product donation challenges
- Create and drive internal sustainability newsletter
- Conduct internal and external research on selected sustainability topics that support our 3 pillars
What are we looking for: (Core Qualifications & Experience)
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Familiarity with basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Passion for wanting to drive sustainability agenda in region
