Preparing and cooking meals as per recipes or special customer requests
Inspecting food items and ingredients for freshness and quality, discarding anything that does not meet standards
Developing and testing new recipes and menu items
Maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen area, including cleaning utensils, equipment, and dishes
Monitoring and maintaining inventory, and ordering new supplies when necessary
Adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Assisting with the planning of menus, considering factors such as seasonality and ingredient availability
Presenting, garnishing and arranging the dishes
Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding food quality or preparation
