Role Summary
The Cook at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina will assist the Senior Chef in daily food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet the hotel's quality and presentation standards. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to hygiene, cost control, and collaboration with other kitchen sections to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.
What You'll Do

• Maintain a hygienic work area in line with hotel standards
• Monitor and control food stock and food costs in the assigned section
• Prepare daily mis-en-place and handle food production in various sections of the kitchen
• Follow instructions and recommendations from superiors to complete daily tasks
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation in food preparation
• Stay updated on new products, recipes, and preparation techniques
• Coordinate with other sections to ensure cleanliness, minimize wastage, and support cost control initiatives

Ideal Profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a four or five-star hotel or comparable hospitality environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in multicultural teams
• Quality-focused with attention to detail and high performance standards
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Basic proficiency in relevant kitchen or hospitality software is an advantage
