Role Summary
The Cook / Commis Chef will contribute to the delivery of high-quality dishes that meet the property's culinary standards, ensuring every meal is a visual and flavorful experience for guests. This role requires attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
What You'll Do

• Prepare and present dishes that meet quality, presentation, and flavor standards
• Maintain and organize workstation, managing supplies, equipment, and minimizing waste
• Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety regulations
• Assist in washing up and other kitchen support duties as needed
• Take on additional tasks as assigned to support smooth kitchen operations

Ideal Profile

• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 23 kg, including bending and kneeling when required
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Compliance with local food handling and safety regulations
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
