About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

Network Engineer (Level 2)

to join our team. This role involves the

operation, design, implementation, and optimization

of network infrastructure that supports mission-critical systems. The successful candidate will work on ICT projects, manage escalated issues, and provide technical leadership to ensure high availability and security of the control room network environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full

network lifecycle (Planning, Design, Implementation, Operation, Optimization - PDIOO)

. Provide 1st and 2nd line support for network operations in the control room. Support and implement complex network upgrades and migration activities. Perform

root cause analysis

and resolve highly complex networking problems. Mentor and train junior engineers; provide escalation support for advanced technologies. Work with system integrators to oversee ICT project implementations. Align IT strategy, processes, and assets with business objectives. Coordinate with Cisco TAC for escalated troubleshooting. Develop future network architecture to deliver new services and reduce risks.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Engineering.

8+ years' experience

in a similar role. Must hold

CCNP certification

(CCIE Routing & Switching desirable). Must hold

ITIL V3 certification

. Strong ability to analyze, configure, and manage medium to large networks.

Desirable:

Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent). VMware vSphere and virtualization experience. Voice solution experience. Exposure to Asset Affairs business functions.

Technical Knowledge Required:

Hands-on experience with: Cisco Nexus (7K/5K/2K), 1000V, UCS FI, MDS Series, SAN. Cisco ASA/VPN, UTM solutions, and borderless networking (BYOD, ISE). Cisco WLC, WCS, WAP, and wireless survey/solutions. TACACS / RADIUS, DNS, DHCP, and other IP services. FI load balancers and application delivery control.
