About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

Security Engineer (Level 2)

to join our team. The role is responsible for the

operation, design, implementation, and optimization

of secure network infrastructure. You will manage security-critical systems, troubleshoot advanced issues, and ensure reliable operations of routing, switching, and firewall technologies in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full

network lifecycle (Planning, Design, Implementation, Operation, Optimization - PDIOO)

. Oversee day-to-day operations and support enhancements for security and network infrastructure. Provide 1st and 2nd line management of regional network management control room. Perform

root cause analysis

of highly complex network security issues. Support complex network upgrades and migration activities. Mentor and train junior engineers; provide escalation support for advanced security technologies. Work closely with system integrators and vendors to manage ICT/security projects. Coordinate with Cisco TAC and other OEMs for escalated issue resolution. Develop future vision architecture to meet cost, risk, and security objectives. Ensure enterprise-wide security best practices in line with operational goals.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or related).

10+ years' experience

in network security engineering roles. Must hold

CCNA (Routing & Switching)

. Hands-on experience with: Next-generation firewalls (Cisco FTD, Fortigate, Palo Alto). Cisco switches, routers, and WLC with ISE integration. Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), endpoint security, ISE, and antivirus. SIEM products (Solarwinds, NetFlow Analyzer, Stealthwatch). DNS/DHCP servers (Microsoft, Infoblox). VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, VRFs, NAT, ACLs, and security policies. Experience with TACACS / RADIUS, DNS, DHCP, and other IP services.

Desirable:

Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent). VMware vSphere and Windows Active Directory knowledge. Exposure to Asset Affairs business functions. Voice solution experience.
