What Does a Control Room Operator Do?
As a Control Room Operator, you will play a key role in managing Dubai Festival City's technical operations, from work order management and real-time system monitoring to reporting and follow-ups. Your proactive oversight ensures all facility systems perform optimally and meet SLA standards.
What Are the Main Responsibilities?
- Verify work request details and generate linked work orders
- Receive and log CCC-related calls during working hours
- Monitor job card status and coordinate with MEP and non-MEP service providers
- Ensure completed job cards are closed properly within the system
- Generate daily reports for PPMs and closed work orders
- Raise job cards for equipment failures and escalate to relevant FM staff
- Monitor HVAC system performance and BMS operations as per standard protocols
- Track energy savings and report SPV performance
- Provide updates on open tasks and SLA compliance via the iViva platform
What Skills Are Needed for a Control Room Job in Dubai?
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or certification in HVAC, BMS, or relevant technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience with BMS systems and HVAC operations
- Familiarity with CMMS or CAFM systems like iViva is an advantage
Core Competencies:

- Strong verbal communication in English
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Attention to detail and good reporting skills
