About the Role

We are hiring motivated

Control Room Operators

to join our team. The role involves monitoring traffic, managing incidents, and operating Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to ensure smooth traffic flow, safety, and real-time communication. This position requires working in a

24/7/365 shift environment

in a safety-critical control room.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor traffic flow and detect potential congestion. Operate ITS systems, road management, and other safety-critical systems. Manage traffic signals, CCTV systems, and dynamic message signs. Support road closures, diversions, and incident management. Provide real-time traffic information to stakeholders. Assist with tunnel operations and road network optimization. Liaise with internal and external teams for information sharing. Provide operational support during major events and weather-related issues. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and security of systems and data. Follow company quality, health, and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (minimum 3 years) in Engineering or a relevant field.

Minimum 2 years' experience

in a control room operating road network ITS systems. Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Valid Qatar Driving License. Willing to work in a 24/7/365 rotating shift schedule.

Desirable:

Ability to communicate in Arabic. Knowledge of transportation industry-specific Video Management Systems. Experience in tunnel management or road incident management systems. Experience with multi-platform software and modular system operations.
