Job Description

URGENTLY looking for a CONTROL PANEL WIREMAN assembles, wires, and tests electrical control and distribution panels according to engineering drawings and safety standards. Key responsibilities include reading schematics, installing components like circuit breakers and relays, troubleshooting wiring issues, and ensuring compliance with codes and specifications.

Core duties



Assembly and installation

: Assembling, wiring, and installing electrical components within control and distribution panels.

Reading and interpreting diagrams

: Using electrical schematics and blueprints to understand and execute wiring layouts.

Component connection

: Connecting a variety of electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, switches, and other devices.

Testing and troubleshooting

: Testing connections to ensure proper functionality and troubleshooting any wiring faults or issues.

Safety and compliance

: Adhering to all electrical safety protocols and ensuring the final product meets industry standards, codes (like NEC or IEC), and project specifications.

Maintenance and repair

: Responding to repair or maintenance requests for existing electrical systems and panels.

Required skills and qualifications



Technical knowledge

: Proficient knowledge of industrial wiring, control circuits, and electrical systems.

Tool proficiency

: Skilled in using both hand and power tools for electrical work.

Attention to detail

: Precise and accurate work is required to ensure functionality and safety.

Problem-solving

: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex wiring problems.

Collaboration
