Job Description

Responsibilities:Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to heavy machinery purchases, rentals, and maintenance services.Negotiate contract terms with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and minimize risk.Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.Collaborate with procurement, finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure smooth execution of contract lifecycle management.Track and manage contract milestones, renewals, and obligations to avoid lapses or missed opportunities.Analyze contract risks, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate issues when necessary.Maintain accurate records and contract documentation for audit and reporting purposes.Support dispute resolution and claims management as required.Continuously seek opportunities to improve contracting processes and cost efficiency.Required SkillsBachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in contract management, preferably in heavy machinery / construction equipment industry.Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and commercial terms.Experience in negotiating high-value contracts and working with cross-functional teams.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong attention to detail with ability to handle multiple contracts simultaneously.Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software/ERP systems.
