1.1. Take over project / contract from Sales Team and initiate kick-off, in conjunction with Contracts Manager 1.2. Initiate project costing & flow as well as critical areas & equipment 1.3. Develop project schedule based on factory manufacturing schedule 1.4. Support Contracts Manager with project strategy, procedures, control systems, coordination mechanisms, quality plan, budget and objectives 1.5. Initiate and manage documents i.e. QCPs, cash flow, drawings, orders, schedules and reporting frequency templates 1.6. Identify and take all necessary corrective actions to achieve project objectives 1. Key Performance Areas (KPA's) 1.1. Completion of the Project / Contract to meet the following criteria: 1.1.1. Compliance with the Company and statutory requirements 1.1.2. Project finished on schedule 1.1.3. Cost within budget 1.1.4. Compliance with technical / quality requirements 1.1.5. Client satisfaction 1.1.6. Company's satisfaction and within project objectives 1.2. Management of all stake holders (Client / Sub-contractors / Vendors / Team members / Management) in a professional, ethical manner 2. Qualifications & Experience 2.1. Engineering Diploma or Degree (preferably Mechanical) 2.2. Project Management qualification or accreditation (PMP or similar) 2.3. Minimum 2 years Rotating Equipment experience, preferably in similar role 2.4. 2 - 3 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in Manufacturing / Construction environment 2.5. Computer literate in Excel, Word, as well as MS Projects preferred. 1.7. Responsible for interface (internal / external), obtain necessary approvals 1.8. Establishing and maintaining client relationship 1.9. Obtain all necessary Client and other approvals 1.10. Control of Project budget and schedule in conjunction with Contracts Manager 1.11. Meet Contractual obligations and statutory requirements 1.12. Prepare weekly / monthly reports to Management and Client 1.13. Ensuring that all work executed on the project complies with schedules and reporting requirements 1.14. Support the Contracts Manager with developing, identify and reporting of project risks 1.15. Support the Contracts Manager with the implementation and management of the Change Management Plan & procedure 1.16. Ensure that all work executed on the project complies with the requirements of the Specifications (Internal / External), Quality Plan and Safety requirements 1.17. Ensure Milestone Invoicing is executed within Contract Milestone Payments in conjunction with Contracts Manager 1.18.
