We are looking to recruit a junior level talented and enthusiastic Content Writer to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality content to our audience.

Position Overview:

As a Content Writer / PR specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and informative content that caters to our tech-savvy audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong affinity for technology, a keen interest in emerging trends in the tech space, possess journalistic qualifications for accuracy and credibility, and have basic knowledge of SEO principles to enhance content visibility. Additionally, you must possess the necessary skills to build relationships with, and pitch stories to, media outlets.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

? Produce high-quality, well-researched, and engaging content related to various technology topics, as well as content centered around government.

? Generate press releases, blog posts, editorials, eBooks, and other written materials that resonate with our target audience.

Research and Analysis:

? Stay abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and developments in the technology sector.

? Conduct in-depth research to ensure accurate and up-to-date information in all content pieces.

SEO:

? Implement basic SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and ranking.

? Collaborate with the SEO team to incorporate relevant keywords and optimize content for search engines.

Public Relations:

? Develop and maintain positive relationships with media representatives.

? Draft press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to promote company initiatives and milestones.

? Secure press coverage and/or pitch newsworthy stories to relevant media outlets.

? Coordinate and manage media inquiries and interviews.

Collaboration

:

? Work closely with the marketing team to align content with the company's editorial guidelines, style, and tone.

? Collaborate with subject matter experts and industry professionals to enhance the depth and quality of the content.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.

? (2) years UAE experience as a content writer, preferably with a focus on technology topics.

? Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging content.

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

? Experienced in establishing partnerships with media outlets.

? Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices preferred.

? Familiarity with content management systems.

? Basic knowledge of graphic design tools.
