Job Title: Consultant Pediatrics

Responsibilities:

\xe2\x88\x99Conduct regular thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and

record their health and normal physical development;

\xe2\x88\x99Examine sick children to determine their condition and ask intuitive questions to gather

information about symptoms;

\xe2\x88\x99Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history;

\xe2\x88\x99Prescribe medications and give detailed instructions for administration; Prescribe and

interpret appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or

abnormalities;

\xe2\x88\x99Prepare and administer vaccines according to the governmental vaccination plan;

\xe2\x88\x99Examine and treat injuries and refer the little patients to physicians of other disciplines when

necessary (e.g. surgeons, ophthalmologists, orthopedists etc.);

\xe2\x88\x99Advise parents on children\'s diet, exercise and disease preventive measures;

\xe2\x88\x99Keep updated records of patients\' illnesses, surgeries or other medical episodes (allergic

shocks, injuries etc.);

\xe2\x88\x99Keep abreast of advancements in pediatrics and best practices by attending seminars and

conferences.

Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit

\xe2\x88\x99Manage patients that meet the requirement to be admitted to the pediatric intermediate

care unit

\xe2\x88\x99Manage CPAP setting, perform lumbar punctures, peripheral/ central line insertion as well as

other procedures applicable to the intermediate care unit.

Job Requirement:

\xe2\x88\x99Education: MD / MS in Pediatrics

\xe2\x88\x99Experience: Minimum 3 years experience with DHA License

\xe2\x88\x99Gender: Male / Female

\xe2\x88\x99Nationality: Any
