Job Description

As a Consultant Pediatrician, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to children in the UAE. You will work with a diverse patient population, utilizing your expertise and experience to provide comprehensive medical care and treatment. With a focus on improving the health and well-being of young patients, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough consultations and physical examinations of pediatric patients Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with parents and caregivers Prescribe medication and provide follow-up care as needed Monitor and evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans Perform procedures such as minor surgeries, immunizations, and vaccinations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide multidisciplinary care to patients Educate parents and caregivers on disease prevention, health promotion, and proper childcare techniques Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records Participate in continuous education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills

Qualifications and Experience:

CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Paediatrics from the UK Minimum of 5-7 years post-CCT experience in a reputable hospital or healthcare institution Valid DHA license or eligibility to obtain a license Fluent in English; Arabic language skills preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and child-friendly care Proficient in medical software and technology Western education/training required.
