We are a leading medical recruitment agency in the Middle East, specializing in providing healthcare professionals to organizations across the region. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatrician (UK, CCT) to join our growing team in Dubai.
As a Consultant Pediatrician, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to children in the UAE. You will work with a diverse patient population, utilizing your expertise and experience to provide comprehensive medical care and treatment. With a focus on improving the health and well-being of young patients, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions and illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations and physical examinations of pediatric patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with parents and caregivers
- Prescribe medication and provide follow-up care as needed
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Perform procedures such as minor surgeries, immunizations, and vaccinations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide multidisciplinary care to patients
- Educate parents and caregivers on disease prevention, health promotion, and proper childcare techniques
- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in continuous education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Paediatrics from the UK
- Minimum of 5-7 years post-CCT experience in a reputable hospital or healthcare institution
- Valid DHA license or eligibility to obtain a license
- Fluent in English, Arabic language skills preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and child-friendly care
- Proficient in medical software and technology
