Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist to join our client's team in Dubai.
As a Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to children and adolescents with rheumatic conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat various pediatric rheumatic disorders, including but not limited to juvenile idiopathic arthritis, lupus, and vasculitis.
Key responsibilities:
As a Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to children and adolescents with rheumatic conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat various pediatric rheumatic disorders, including but not limited to juvenile idiopathic arthritis, lupus, and vasculitis.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with rheumatic conditions to determine the appropriate course of treatment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and medical history
- Monitor and track patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Provide patient education and support to promote self-management and improve overall health outcomes
- Collaborate with other specialists, such as physical therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of pediatric rheumatology and incorporate new treatment techniques and technologies into practice
- Participate in research and clinical trials to advance the understanding and treatment of pediatric rheumatic disorders
- Medical degree and specialty training in Pediatric Rheumatology from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in Dubai
- The candidate must hold UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric rheumatology, preferably in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Passion and dedication to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to children and adolescents with rheumatic conditions
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in the field
