? Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing complex autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions in children, with a strong commitment to evidence-based care, family support, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
? Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pediatric rheumatic conditions including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, and connective tissue disorders
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging, blood work, and biopsies
• Develop individualized treatment plans using immunomodulatory therapies and biologics
• Collaborate with pediatricians, immunologists, physiotherapists, and other specialists for integrated care
• Provide education and emotional support to families regarding disease management and long-term care
• Participate in clinical research, CME activities, and departmental quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation

? Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Pediatric Rheumatology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience in a tertiary or academic hospital setting
• Eligible for DHA Consultant licensure (Dubai Health Authority)
• Western-trained background preferred
• Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and communication skills
• Culturally sensitive and family-centered approach to care

• Tax-free salary: AED 80,000-90,000/month (commensurate with experience)
