We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant/Specialist in Pain Medicine to join our dynamic team .
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with chronic or acute pain conditions
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication management, interventional procedures, and non-pharmacologic therapies
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments
- Educate patients and their families on pain management techniques, medication usage, and potential side effects
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide interdisciplinary care for patients
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in pain management and incorporate them into practice
- Conduct research and publish findings in relevant medical journals
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited university
- Board certification in Pain Medicine or fellowship training in Pain Medicine
- Valid state medical license and DEA certification
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a pain management setting
- Proficient in both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic pain management techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
