to manage the storage, receipt, issuance, and documentation of construction materials, tools, and equipment at our project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently, inventory records are accurate, and materials are available when required by site teams.
Key Responsibilities
:
Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders and delivery notes.
Maintain proper storage of construction materials to prevent damage or loss.
Issue materials to site staff as per approved requisitions.
Maintain and update stock/inventory records on a daily basis (manual or software-based).
Monitor material stock levels and notify procurement department for reordering.
Coordinate with procurement and project teams for material deliveries.
Ensure all tools and equipment are recorded and tracked.
Implement and follow safety and cleanliness standards in the store area.
Conduct periodic stock-taking (weekly/monthly/yearly).
Prepare reports such as material consumption, stock balance, damaged materials, etc.
Requirements
:
Proven experience as a Store Keeper in the construction industry.
Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Basic knowledge of inventory software or Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Minimum high school diploma (Diploma in Logistics or related field is a plus).
Ability to lift and move heavy items when needed.
