Construction Snagging Engineer

Job Description
OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
To ensure high-quality project completion by identifying, documenting, and overseeing the rectification of construction defects before handover.
CORE TASKS
Conduct thorough site inspections to identify defects, incomplete work, or quality issues. Document defects in a detailed snagging report, specifying required corrections. Communicate snagging issues to contractors and follow up on rectifications. Verify that all work meets project specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Reinspect rectified work to confirm compliance before project handover. Maintain accurate records of snags, resolutions, and progress reports. Ensure all defects are resolved before final project sign-off.
SKILLS-SET NEEDED
5 years of experience primarily in snagging and finishing work, with exposure to facilities and project management. Diploma in Civil Engineering with working knowledge of MEP systems. Certified Professional Inspector (CPI). Quality certifications (QA/QC) or experience in ISO implementation projects. Minimum of 3 years' experience using snagging software. Proficiency in English (verbal and written); knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
