The Helper/Mason is responsible for assisting with construction site tasks, including preparing and laying materials, mixing concrete, and supporting skilled workers in completing construction projects. The role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
Helper Responsibilities
Site Preparation:
Assist in preparing the construction site by cleaning and clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing tools and materials.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
Material Handling:
Mix concrete, mortar, and other materials as directed by the mason or supervisor.
Transport materials to work areas and ensure they are readily available.
Support Tasks:
Assist skilled workers, such as masons, carpenters, and electricians, with basic tasks.
Handle minor repairs and adjustments under supervision.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all site safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
