About the Role:

Burtplace General Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of materials and services supporting multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with project and engineering teams to identify material requirements Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and reliable delivery Prepare and manage RFQs, purchase orders, and procurement contracts Monitor and track material deliveries to ensure timely arrival on site Maintain supplier performance records and foster positive relationships Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records Support cost-saving and value engineering initiatives
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in construction, preferably within the UAE Strong knowledge of construction materials and local supplier market Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office and procurement software/tools Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure Immediate availability preferred
