Construction Manager Civil

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee civil contracting projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of all site activities to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day construction site operations for civil infrastructure/building projects.
Supervise site teams including engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and laborers.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
Review project drawings and specifications; coordinate with consultants and clients.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
Identify risks or delays and implement corrective actions.
Manage material procurement and ensure timely delivery.
Liaise with authorities for permits and approvals.
Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record in executing medium to large-scale civil contracting projects.
Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.
Familiar with local building codes, construction regulations, and HSE practices.
Preferred:
UAE experience preferred.
Valid UAE driving license.
