Job Description

Highly experienced and detail-oriented planning/construction manager with over 10 years of expertise in managing the mechanical, civil and electrical, and plumbing systems in large-scale construction projects. Adept at overseeing all phases of construction, from design through to commissioning, ensuring compliance with codes, specifications, and project timelines. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the planning, design, and implementation for construction projects, ensuring seamless integration with overall project goals. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, aligning with client expectations and project requirements. Lead and manage the planning and control functions for onshore and offshore oil and gas projects. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Monitor and control project performance against the schedule and budget, identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and procurement, to ensure efficient project execution. Prepare and present detailed progress reports, forecasts, and variance analysis to senior management and stakeholders. Monitor project milestones and adjust strategies to stay on track with deadlines and financial targets. Ensure that all deliverables align with the highest quality standards and meet client specifications. Lead, guide, and mentor project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, fostering skill development and teamwork. Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization and adherence to project timelines. Cultivate a positive and collaborative team environment to drive project success. Act as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and the project team, addressing any concerns or issues promptly. Prepare and present detailed proposals, reports, and updates to clients, ensuring transparency and effective communication. Address and resolve client concerns promptly, ensuring continuous client satisfaction throughout the project's duration. Coordinate MEP design efforts with architects, structural engineers, and other key design team members to ensure alignment and smooth execution. Review and approve MEP design documents, including drawings and specifications, ensuring they meet all project requirements. Ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall design and construction framework of the project. Proactively identify and assess potential risks, developing strategies to mitigate issues and keep the project on track. Resolve challenges and obstacles in a timely and effective manner to prevent delays or budget overruns. Regularly conduct risk assessments and adjust project plans to ensure continued alignment with objectives. Manage project budgets and expenses, ensuring cost control, resource efficiency, and financial accountability. Track and report project expenditures, providing regular updates to clients and senior management. Allocate resources strategically to meet project requirements, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution. Implement rigorous quality control procedures to guarantee that all project deliverables meet required standards. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure progress and quality standards are maintained. Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including design plans, specifications, and reports, for future reference and compliance. Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and senior leadership, highlighting key milestones and potential challenges. Ensure proper record-keeping and documentation for compliance and audit purposes. Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Lead and manage the planning and control functions for onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.
