Our client is bidding for work on the Dubai Metro Stations Flood Protection Measures And Operational Headway Improvement (Package 2) and they are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Construction Manager (Electrical).
Job Summary: Construction Manager Electrical is responsible to oversee and manage all electrical construction activities related to the Traction Power Supply System for a key rail/metro infrastructure project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical power systems for rail applications and will ensure project execution aligns with quality, safety, schedule, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all electrical construction works for the traction power supply system, including traction substations, feeder stations, overhead line electrification (OLE) equipment, transformers, switchgear, protection, and control systems.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor construction activities to ensure timely and safe completion.

• Collaborate with design engineers, project planners, procurement teams, and subcontractors to align construction efforts with project specifications and standards.

• Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, local regulations, and client requirements.

• Lead site inspections, quality control checks, and safety audits.

• Review and approve electrical construction plans, work methods, and risk assessments.

• Manage subcontractor and vendor performance and resolve technical or contractual issues.

• Monitor construction progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to senior management and stakeholders.

• Support commissioning and testing activities, ensuring all electrical systems meet operational standards.

• Implement corrective actions for any deviations in quality or safety.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. with not less than 15 years' experience in management of works of a similar nature as applicable to the designated position.
