Construction Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE
Department: Operations / Construction
Reports To: Project Director
Job Purpose:
To plan, direct, and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the specified quality. The Construction Manager is the ultimate authority on site, responsible for daily operations, logistics, and direct management of all subcontractors and labor.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the master construction schedule, detailed short-term programs, and resource allocation plans.
• Direct and supervise all site staff, including site engineers, foremen, and supervisors.
• Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, ensuring their work is integrated, sequenced, and performed according to plan.
• Chair daily/weekly site coordination meetings and progress reviews.
• Ensure strict adherence to the project budget, controlling costs related to labor, equipment, and materials.
• Enforce the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental protection on site.
• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, equipment mobilization, and temporary works.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site-related issues with the client's representatives and consultants.
• Proactively identify and resolve construction-related problems and delays.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 12 years of direct construction experience, with at least 5 years as a Construction Manager on major building projects in the UAE.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering high-rise or large-scale mixed-use projects in Dubai from start to finish.
• Strong expertise in construction methodologies, sequencing, and planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and motivate large, multicultural teams.
