The Construction Manager will lead project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure smooth execution of all construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of construction sites.
Develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, quality standards, and timelines.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Lead, mentor, and supervise project engineers, site managers, and subcontractors.
Allocate resources effectively and manage workforce productivity.
Conduct regular site meetings with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Enforce strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations.
Ensure quality control standards are met at every stage of construction.
Implement risk management strategies to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Budgeting & Cost Control
Manage project budgets, cash flows, and cost controls.
Approve material requests and coordinate with procurement for timely delivery.
Monitor subcontractor performance and validate payment certifications.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Provide regular updates, progress reports, and presentations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related field.
Minimum 15
years
of experience in construction project management (preferably in high rise building
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
Knowledge of construction laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.).
