The Construction Manager - Buildings is responsible for managing and supervising all construction activities related to building projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee building construction works from mobilization to handover.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and shop drawings.
Ensure compliance with approved designs, project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when required.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and site safety requirements.
Review and approve work programs, material submissions, and inspections.
Attend progress meetings and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
Manage variations, claims, and site instructions in coordination with the project team.
Ensure timely testing, commissioning, and handover of building works.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
10-12 years of experience in building construction projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
Experience in GCC projects is preferred.
