Construction Manager
Job Summary:
The Construction Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely execution of all on-site construction activities. They lead all construction superintendents, foremen, and labor, ensuring work is performed according to design, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily on-site construction operations, including civil, structural, mechanical, and E&I works.
- Manage and direct all construction supervisors, subcontractors, and labor resources.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations (HSE).
- Review construction methods and sequences for efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and Planning Engineer to develop and meet construction schedules.
- Manage material and equipment logistics to support construction sequencing.
- Resolve technical and logistical issues that arise during construction.
- Liaise with the QA/QC team to ensure workmanship meets quality standards.
- Review and approve daily progress reports and timesheets.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent extensive field experience.
- 15+ years of construction experience, with at least 8 years in a Construction Manager or Senior Superintendent role.
- Strong working knowledge of construction means, methods, and heavy equipment.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a large, diverse workforce.
