We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

Construction Draftsman

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings and shop drawings for construction projects. The role requires strong knowledge of construction standards, drafting techniques, and the ability to coordinate with site and design teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare architectural, structural, and MEP drawings based on project specifications and engineering inputs. Create shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed layouts for construction and authority submissions. Review and revise drawings according to mark-ups, engineering changes, or site conditions. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site supervisors to ensure drawing accuracy and practicality. Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes, authority regulations (DM, Trakhees, EHS), and project requirements. Maintain an organized system for version control and document filing. Conduct periodic site visits to verify dimensions and take measurements as required. Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and bill of quantities from drawings (if required).

Requirements:

Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience of

1-3 years

as a draftsman in the

construction industry

. Proficient in AutoCAD (2D), and knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting software is a plus. Strong understanding of civil, structural, and architectural detailing. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
