Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Sales Generation
Drive delegate revenue through outbound sales campaigns (phone, email, CRM).
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets.
Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
Navigate objections effectively to close delegate bookings.
Lead Management & Market Research
Strategically segment markets and prospect for qualified leads.
Utilize lead scoring frameworks to prioritize outreach.
Maintain accurate CRM records.
Marketing & CRM Integration
Collaborate with marketing to align delegate messaging and targeting.
Leverage CRM data for personalized outreach and performance tracking.
Relationship Management
Build and nurture long-term relationships to enhance retention and upsell potential.
Act as the main point of contact for delegates before and after the event.
Team Leadership & Development
Mentor junior sales team members and share sales best practices.
Contribute to ongoing sales training and development efforts.
Strategic & Analytical Contribution
Analyze sales data to refine strategies and improve conversions.
Provide input on pipeline forecasting and revenue planning.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
8+ years of experience in delegate sales, B2B event sales, or conference sponsorship.
Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, etc.).
Expertise in consultative selling and account management.
Passion for the events industry and ability to perform under tight deadlines.
Experience in the life sciences or healthcare sector is a plus.
