The Compliance Officer/Deputy MLRO will support and assist the MLRO in all responsibilities and will act during their absence. Main Duties:

Assisting the MLRO in researching the firm\xe2\x80\x99s organization and its requirements
Assisting in the development and monitoring the compliance controls in the firm
Keep up to date with regulatory developments
Support the staff in the firm to maintain compliance and assist the governing body in developing the compliance culture of the firm
Write and present compliance reports when necessary
Consider and advise on the regulatory implications of new business strategies
Plan and deliver compliance training alongside the MLRO
Maintain an effective relationship with relevant external bodies and respond to requests on consultations
Deal with complaints regarding non-compliance
Identify, investigate and resolve non-compliant activity within the firm
Inform regulatory bodies of breaches in rules and regulations
Assist in developing and monitoring the firm\xe2\x80\x99s compliance with its training and competency programme and training and competency document.

Experience and Qualifications:

5 years experience in a Compliance Dept within the financial services sector within the GCC.
Must have AML qualifications
Team player
Able to act with a minimum of supervision
Strong investigational, analytical, ethics and problem-solving skills
Extraordinary attention to detail
